If you are interested in exotic sacred mushrooms, cultivation tips, and personal reflections on psychedelics, this is for you.

In my household growing up, psychoactive drugs of all kinds were verboten. Being a quiet “good kid,” I had never taken any psychedelic drug before at age 31. If you’d told me I would one day have a dedicated mushroom grow room in my house I would have thought you were crazy.

I first pursued psilocybin in early 2024 seeking relief from depression. What I discovered was much more than just depression relief: I found a completely new way to engage with being alive.

Cultivating fungi now takes a prominent role in my life, replacing a lifelong unhealthy relationship with video games. I learned from online educators like PGT, GordoTEK, and others. After a transcendent experience with the species panaeolus cyanescens, I became fascinated by the so-called “exotic” species of sacred mushrooms. I have used and customized teks from many sources to successfully cultivate panaeolus cyanescens, psilocybe ochraceocentrata (previously known as ps. natalensis), psilocybe subtropicalis, psilocybe zapotecorum, and soon others.

In these pages, I will share how I grow these mushrooms, share what did and didn’t work for me, offer my experience with various grow teks, share my perspective on each species, and offer commentary about my own cultivation and psychedelic journey.

All my content is free. This work exists to document my experiences for others. If you benefited from my work and wish to show support, please consider supporting me.
